This South African white derives from one of the oldest wine farms in the Robertson region whose main production is Sauvignon Blanc.  It boasts the classic herbaceous aromas of the varietal and characteristic crisp grapefuit and melon flavors.  Excellent with fish and the perfect wine to take on a fresh green salad.

Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, very good to excellent, "Bright, pale yellow.  Cool aromas of gooseberry, grapefruit, pepper and mint. Dense, chewy and saline, with good texture to the round but dry flavors of lime, melon and fresh herbs.  Could use a bit more lift and intensity, but there's interesting minerality lurking.  Finishes chewy and spicy, with a slight harshness."

A nice Sauvignon Blanc, it has good varietal character, with nice acidity and good fruit flavour. A good deal.
